Hwall of The Boyz not able to perform in comeback due to leg surgery

On March 28th, Cre.Ker Entertainment announced that due to an unexpected leg surgery, Hwall will not be able to participate in their promotions for their upcoming mini album.

The following is the companies statement:

"Hello, this is Cre.Ker Entertainment.

We would like to give thanks for the fans who love THE BOYZ, however regretfully inform you about the temporary halt of activities of THE BOYZ member "Hwall".

Due to health problems, THE BOYZ's Hwall will be unable to participate in the comeback activities for the mini-album, "THE START".

During the preparation for the comeback, Hwall experienced pain and consequently visited the hospital. He was advised by a specialist, to focus on treatment and recovery for 3 months. Hwall has been diagnosed with "posterior tibial dysfunction".

We believe that, first and foremost, our artist's health and wellbeing is the top priority, and after discussion with, Hwall's family and medical staff, it has been decided that he will undergo surgery.

On the 27th of March, Hwall underwent the surgery and is now committed to a full recovery.

THE BOYZ will continue their activities for the mini-album as 11 members from the comeback showcase on the 3rd and onwards. After Hwall has completed the recovery, he will rejoin the team and meet the fans once again.

We apologize for the sudden news that may cause many fans' concerns. In the future, we will do our best to concentrate on the treatment and recovery of our artist, and promise to ensure that THE BOYZ members will be able to successfully participate in the comeback activities."
